ObraSaaS: end-to-end construction management, from field to leadership
ObraSaaS joins the portfolio as a ConstructionTech platform: Gantt/CPM, costs, certifications, digital site log, documents, inspections and WhatsApp field workflows.
ObraSaaS is built around a concrete friction: a construction project generates critical information all day, yet that evidence is often scattered across messages, photos, spreadsheets, daily reports and disconnected systems.
Why it exists
On many construction projects, planning lives in one tool, costs in another, photos in chats, certificates in folders and key decisions in conversations that are hard to reconstruct. This fragmentation does more than create friction: it slows responses and weakens project evidence.
ObraSaaS aims to organize that operation without forcing field teams to completely change how they work. The platform connects planning, tracking, documents and reports through familiar interfaces, including WhatsApp workflows.
What it connects
The product brings together Gantt/CPM scheduling, dependencies and critical path; physical and financial tracking; costs and certifications; a digital site log; documents, drawings and inspections; and field workflows for capturing updates and evidence.
The goal is not another isolated dashboard. It is a shared source of context across the field, project leadership and administration, with data that can be reviewed and audited.
Product engineering
ObraSaaS is developed as a full-stack application with Next.js and React, relational persistence through Prisma/PostgreSQL, a multi-tenant architecture and authenticated REST APIs. The platform is publicly deployed on Vercel and provides a navigable demo of its main modules.
The architecture lets each module evolve without losing the relationship between projects, users, tasks, certifications, documents, inspections and operational events.
Judgment before marketing
I prefer to present the project through what can be demonstrated today: a deployed product, navigable modules, a multi-tenant data model, protected APIs and a clear direction for connecting the field with management.
Commercial metrics, economic returns and compliance claims should be supported by independent evidence before becoming promises. That discipline is also part of the product.
Next step
The focus remains on strengthening the daily construction experience, evidence quality, interoperability and approval workflows. The challenge is to keep a powerful platform simple for field teams and precise for those who lead, control or audit.
You can explore the public ObraSaaS demo and review its planning, cost, certification and digital site-log modules.
ObraSaaS expands my portfolio into ConstructionTech with a simple but demanding idea: connect real field work with leadership, administration and control decisions without hiding traceability.
